Information
Land banking and speculation are detrimental to the rebuild of Christchurch’s CBD; they leave us with an abundance of derelict and unused spaces. I propose that these land bankers' sites be named and shamed, and derelict sites converted to temporary spaces for public gathering and recreational use in order to influence physical and mental wellbeing. This proposal for short term action will generate a result for long term change.
