Lines of Sight

My filmic trails of images are constructed in an order to make the viewer aware of this male bias, foregrounding the tropes and conventions of representing the filmic female body. The frames of in which women are confined are disguised but yet visible between the walls of the domestic space they are isolated in. The filmic strips draw to cinema and have reoccurring motifs but interrupt with repetition to emphasise the unreality.

I am a photographer who enjoys taking portraits, still life and fashion style photography based in Wellington. I love working with people and places to create stories and a particular image a client would be after. I also enjoy photographically exploring social issues within society.
