Tessellation is a reflection of a personal conflict with fashion through geometry, colour and layering. Almost exclusively in natural and organic materials, this collection is driven by three personas combined: 60s glamour puss; 90s tomboy and today’s Parisian. With the use of fabric waste conscious methods such as zero and minimal waste, this collection embodies geometric shapes and silhouettes within a two and three-dimensional lens.
Taania Sietske is a fashion designer who specialises in zero and minimal waste garments and lingerie. Attempting to push the unsaid ‘parameters’ of sustainable clothing Taania uses two and three dimensional geometric shapes to create bold silhouettes alongside the use of bright colours and layering.
